Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Tablet

Last year, pretty much every tech company under the sun focused on releasing prosumer devices. Which is why you may be forgiven for overlooking Lenovo's newly unveiled Thinkpad X1 Tablet here at CES 2016.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet review: A Surface-like tablet with a grab bag of add-ons

This Windows slate has the standard keyboard cover, but also offers optional add-ons, from a projector to a port replicator.

Lenovo's ThinkPad X1 Tablet offers modular add-on options, and has a sharp display and a great keyboard.

The Intel Core m3 base model is not the fastest machine around, and adding faster parts and optional modules can get expensive. There's no slot or magnetic anchor for the optional stylus.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 tablet isn't as slick as some other Windows tablets, but its modular add-ons give it a cool built-to-order feel.

Touch Me I’m Carbon

Lenovo claims its X1 Carbon is the world's lightest 14-inch laptop

The revamped Lenovo X1 ultrabook is painfully expensive, but if you're willing to make a sizable investment, it's the ultrathin 14-incher to beat.

Incredibly light for a 14-inch laptop, the ; is ruggedly built, and has a better keyboard than any ultrabook-style laptop, even Apple's MacBook Air.

For such an expensive laptop, battery life is just so-so. Consumer-friendly options such as HDMI are missing.

The business-oriented Lenovo ThinkPad X1 has a few quirks, but is otherwise a very impressive business-oriented ultrabook with strong crossover potential.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 review

Lenovo, keeper of the venerated ThinkPad brand, was one of the first Windows laptop makers to directly take on Apple's MacBook Air , with its 13-inch ThinkPad X1 . This was before Intel had begun publicly branding thin laptops with its trademarked...

Lenovo ThinkPad X1

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is one of the most powerful business ultraportables available, though the standard battery alone won't cut it for road warriors.

Sturdy construction. Gorilla glass is scratch-proof. Backlit keyboard. Great typing experience. HDMI and DisplayPort. Fast 2.5-inch HDD. Standard Voltage processors only. An excellent mix of wireless technologies. Dolby sound is worthy of entertainment...

No Anti-glare screen available. Standard battery alone doesn't crank out enough battery life. Hefty for an ultraportable without an optical drive.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 review

A tough and powerful ultraportable but with disappointing battery life

Powerful CPU ; Slim and light ; Rugged, waterproof build ; Colourful screen ; Good features

Battery life fails to impress ; Hit-and-miss usability ; No dedicated graphics ; Reflective screen

An impressively rugged 13.3-inch laptop with a lot of grunt and great features but a weak battery

Lenovo X1 Carbon Review

Overall, the Lenovo X1 Carbon is an amazing work laptop. It has a very sturdy design that is also low-maintenance. It has an awesome keyboard that is unrivaled in my opinion – even my desktop keyboard is jealous of it. The ergonomics are really tuned...
