If you need workstation-class power and certification in an all-in-one form factor, the HP Z1 is the way to go.

Brilliant, huge screen. All in one form factor Workstation. Has 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi. DisplayPort in/out port. Expandable all-in-one chassis. SSDs. Articulated hinge. VESA mountable. Blu-ray burner.

Limited internal expansion.

HP Z1 Workstation

 

The Z1 workstation really brings HP's engineering skill to the fore. However, the large markup on workstation parts means that a significantly cheaper machine will outperform it, and high-end graphics cards are left out in the cold.

User serviceable all-in-one. Good display.

No high-end graphics SKU. Stand mechanism is clunky. Ports on the rear are incredibly difficult to get access to. Better performance on consumer all-in-ones for considerably less.

The Z1 workstation really brings HP's engineering skill to the fore. The large markup on workstation parts though means a significantly cheaper machine will outperform it.
