Okay it's not a top of the line camera and it would rate about 4 stars next to a higher end model, BUT at this price point it is an excellent buy for a 3CCD camera with a decent amount of bells & whistles. It does need good lighting so I would invest...

About to put it through it paces

 

I will be using this camcorder for live music events, some weddings and mayube even promotional type stuff for bands and interviews of band members. I got this product for the sole purpose of wanting a pro style camcorder to show off to my clients....
