I bought this thing mainly because of the price and because another reviewer said it was simple enough for his wife to operate.

The mapping software works better than earlier products I've used, but it's still a bit moronic.

Better that factory GPS!!

 

Very accurate, fast satellite acquisition, fast recalculation, voice guidance is clear and with good volume, I was a little bit worried about the size of the screen but that is no problem at all, custom POI in a nice addition, you can add a stops along...

Map version (V8) is out of date, does not show a major highway change in my area and needs to be updated, but this is a software issue.

Size makes this extremely portable, speaker is loud and upgrading firmware was a snap.

I bought this unit for my girlfriend as an xmas gift, and she loves it, its small enough to fit on her windsheild without being a distraction, but its not so small you can't see the map. Some people have said it takes forever for the unit to hook up...

Great size, preinstalled maps are perfect, voice is very audible, extra information it gives is very useful found satellites very fast, even in the middle of boston, and recalculates routes very fast incase you get off trail
