PLANTRONICS .Audio 340 3.5mm Supra-aural The Head Stereo Headset

 

Giving it a four star rating only because I was disappointed in the comfort level.

This headset has superb voice quality for the price. The audio connection cable is long, which I considered a big plus, as I like to be able to move around my desk a bit. I've yet to be disappointed by a Plantronics headset's earphone and mic quality

Not quite as comfortable for long periods as I was hoping, a little too much pressure. The boom mic is quite long, longer than it looked in the picture. This only bothers me because I don't like seeing the boom in front of my face

Great for the price

 

For the price, you are getting some really great headphones. Even though they dont last long, I keep buying them.

Good speaker and mic quality for the price. Volume conrol and an extra long cord are especially nice. Very comfortable too

Can't take a lot of punishment. The cord will wear out where it meets the jack after about 6 months of typical gamer use. I've gone through 4 of these

Overall, I'd recommend it, but I'd more highly recommend shelling out the extra 5 bucks and getting the Audio .350 model or the GAMECOM 1, both which have padded ears.

Very good mic quality, good earphone quality

Uncomfortable to wear for more than an hour at a time, will irritate your ears and the side of your head

Great headsets!

 

I use this headset for gaming, music, and the mic. for ventrillo. Some people said that the mic. sucks, people say that my mic. is great. Who knows, maybe their sound card sucks? Mine worked the first time I got it from newegg. There's more Pros than...

The sound and mic. are great. These are comfortable for hours of use (sometimes). The headset itself looks really cool. You can adjust the sound or mute the mic. on the wire

If you turn up the volume everyone near you can hear what's coming out of your headphones. Sometimes this headsets does hurt a little at times but nothing really big

Perfection

 

I got these to replace my last Plantronics set that finally was getting worn out after 2 years of constant use and abuse. Like my last set that are behind the head. The difference is that these are even more comfortable, with a better fit.

Even better then my last set, great sound, very comfortable, great quality, so nice. Another great product by Plantronics

Good while it lasted

 

The plastic is extremely fragile, even while 'sitting' on my desk and getting little to no use i found the swivel on the microphone to wear easily, this soon resulted in the swivel portion breaking off and rendering the design useless. unless you have...

High amount of sound, mute function is right on the switch, volume control makes an ease of adjustments and really great for gaming

Unfortunately, my mic was a very high sound, coming 'out' into the headset was very poor, i was not satisfied. Although the wrap around the neck is quite nice, it did not fit well with my ears, often sliding off in some cases or taking a decent amount...

Good deal for general purpose

 

Some may prefer USB models. Be sure you either have both phones and mic jacks on the front of your comp, or don't mind plugging both in the back.

Good sound quality for headphones that don't wrap your ear. Wrap behind your head. Light weight but well constructed. Single wire on the left side. Pivoting boom mic. Long cord. Decent bass. Better than old expensive HQ Sony phones that wrapped my ears

They don't quite fit against the back of my slightly large head. They're probably even looser on smaller heads. Mic is a little hard to pivot without also moving the headphones on your head

Good pair of earphones

 

Newegg sells them so cheap! If I were to get them from a retail shop I would have got twice the price.

This pair of headphones not only look good, but sound good too. The microphone was also of good quality

The band was a bit tight; it almost feels as if the headphones were clamping against your ears
