If you are going to drop full price, find yourself a higher quality headset. Might be worth if if you can find them on sale.

Got these on sale for 20 dollars. They sound decent and the microphone works well

The wire in the in-line volume control has started shorting out after just 2 months of use. Left channel audio comes in and out making games that need directional sound rather hard to play

after 8 months, it still works ; sound quality is good enough ; pretty good price ; comes with an adapter for your phone ; awesome mic sound quality

a little flimsy. If you're not too rough with them, it shouldn't be a problem ; sound quality is good, not great. If you're looking a a headset for communication, this is the one you want, if you want music, theatrical sound, look elsewhere

Unnatural longevity.

 

This thing lasted two years of near constant abuse, and only just now have issues arise (right ear no longer emits sound). The only thing I found lacking was the microphone, which was really quiet.
