One step forwards, two steps back

Google Play apps ; Comprehensive file support ; Decent battery life

Lacks brightness ; Low resolution colors ; Some ghosting

Color E Ink is here. It’s not as sharp as mono and a high price makes this one for early adopters, but a colorful screen, an open Android 10 OS and editing options galore makes this an ereader to watch.

Full-color, sunlight-readable display ; Nice, flat-front build ; Wacom pen for drawing and note-taking ; Runs any Android app

Screen is a bit dim ; Occasional ghosting on color content

This nicely sized tablet has full Android, a stylus, and a color E Ink screen, but it's dimmer and more expensive than competing LCD tablets.
