Runs at a high temperature when switched on for long time ; No built-in recording features

All up we find this simple set top box to be a good contender to other (more expensive) HD set top boxes on the market.

Forget my comments prev. comments on Auto tunning / Output switches..these really are a breeze... the problem was with the Panasonic VCR/DVD combo I had it cabled up to!... the Pana's antena output jack was faulty

Suits large screen Plasmas' to a tee with its excellent video representation and, when teamed up with any half decent amp./ speaker system, should more than suit the budget concious home theatre enthusiast

The auto. tuning can be annoying under certain restricted reception conditions....and those switches determining output had me confused during setup. The unit does heat up if left on for several hours so adequate ventilation is certainly recommended
