The sound is seriously lacking in detail.
The Paradigm Shift E3m is a fine-looking, beautifully built in-ear headphone, but the admirable design elements don't offset its mediocre sound.

The Paradigm Shift e3m earphones are ideal for those who favor "warmth" over "brightness," offering powerful bass response with less emphasis on the higher frequencies.
Quality audio performance. Strong bass response that doesn't distort at high volumes. Secure fit. Tangle-resistant cloth-covered cable.
Single-button phone controls work with different phones, but not as well as dedicated controls for iPhones. Lack of crispness not for everyone.
