You can't compact the coffee to get a decent depth of flavour and the coffee just isn't hot enough.

steam comes out of top after its made, coffee not as strong even with more coffee than a push down one, you don,t get that lovely smell of coffee as the first lot of water to hit the coffee is not seeming hot,wish I could give it back and buy one more...

Plastic smell from machine remains in glass cups and for this reason overall rating is 3 only.

It uses ground coffee not pods so more cost effective and you can make the coffee as strong or weak as you like. Makes a full travel mug in 5 mins or less. Easy clean!

Getting the travel mug onto the base requires a bit of angling but it's safe once there and the coffee flows straight into the mug with no splashing - if the lid is on. Not sure if you can make two consecutive cups without turning the machine off for 5...
