Solidly made but has no timer, hot plate is only on or off. You have to remember to turn it off. If I had not already of used it I would have returned it.

This coffee maker is an excellant product and great value for the price. Easy to operate and I would highly recommend it.

Had to return item after 2 brews. Flimsy construction all round. Two little screws hold everything in place at the top and the plastic housing broke on one leaving unit unstable and water pipe slipped off feeder. Did not replace.
