The Kindle Scribe is the biggest and most expensive Kindle on the market, and the first one that you can write on. It also happens to be something I adore.
Slim and lightweight design E-ink screen looks fantastic Tried-and-true Kindle reading Superb writing experience Weeks of battery life Very competitive pricing
Few formatting tools for writing Limited Kindle app integration
“The Amazon Kindle Scribe isn't for everyone. But if you want a single gadget for reading and writing on a lovely e-ink screen, it's about as good as it gets.”

New features have made the Scribe a journaling champ
Good price for a stylus-toting E Ink tablet ; Finally, a large Kindle screen for reading ; More pen options and 'write on' books added since launch
Few writing features for journaling and doodles ; You can’t write in the margins of books ; Not many 'write on' books available yet
The Kindle Scribe is a great Kindle if you want to read on the biggest, sharpest screen possible. The writing features are a nice addition, and while it can't quite measure up to dedicated e ink writing tablets, Amazon has made improvements to both the...

The Amazon Kindle Scribe is a big-screened e-reader that you can draw and write on as well
Comes with a stylus for writing ; Plenty of battery life ; Auto-adjusting light sensors
Not waterproof ; Lacks wireless charging ; Quite a big device
The Amazon Kindle Scribe is a large e-reader that doubles up as an electronic notepad, and while it won't be for everyone, those who will make use of writing on it will love the experience.
Expertrecension från : David Carnoy (cnet.com)
The Scribe lives up to being an e-reader you can use for taking notes, sketching and marking up docs, but it's not a total slam dunk.
Text and images appear sharp on large 10.2-inch, 300 ppi display ; Writing feels smooth and natural ; Adjustable warm light with 35 LEDs ; Can mark up PDFs, other docs ; Easy to send documents to device ; Weeks of battery life
Pretty weighty and pricey ; Needs a cover with a built-in stand ; PDF browsing could be better ; Can't mark up Kindle e-books (or DRM-free ePub ebooks) ; Note-taking could be more robust
Expertrecension från : Will Greenwald (pcmag.com)
The Amazon Kindle Scribe is an excellent big-screen ebook reader and note-taking device, but don't confuse it for a drawing pad.

The Amazon Kindle (2022) is the most affordable way to carry a whole library of books in your bag
6-inch 300ppi screen ; Up to 6 weeks battery ; Adjustable backlights
Not waterproof ; Lacks auto-light sensors ; Only wired charging
The most affordable Kindle is Amazon's most basic option in terms of features but it still reads very well. Light and compact, it'll slip right into your bag allowing you to take a whole library of reading material wherever you go.

Amazon's biggest-ever Kindle can be used to read and write, and stokes the paper tablet bandwagon fire to new heights
Big sharp display ; Handwriting feels and sounds natural ; Long battery life ; Comes with a stylus as standard
Needs more notebook template options ; Needs more pen/pencil styles ; Hard to hold one-handed ; No third-party file/cloud integration
Kindle's first reading and writing tablet is a strong start from Amazon, but still has room to improve its usefulness. With more pen and notebook styles, and better third party service integration, it could be a killer device.

In our Kindle Scribe review, we take a look at an e-ink e-reader with a surprisingly capable stylus. This tech's come a long way in a decade.
Smooth writing surface feels and sounds like paper ; Weeks-long battery life ; Sleek profile excellent for both reading and writing
Physical navigation buttons would be nice ; Only newer Kindle without IP water-resistance rating ; Some room for growth in notebook organization and features

Which of these digital notepads is superior: the Amazon Kindle Scribe or the Remarkable 2? We've checked the specs to find out.

Amazon takes Kindle and supersizes it, adds a pen and a notebook section. Does it do enough to take the Kindle experience to the next level?
What a nice-looking tab ; The pen is pretty light
Writing on the screen is lovely ; Needs writing recognition pronto ; Navigation isn’t the best
It’s a beautiful ereader and notepad, but so very expensive – and handwriting-to-text recognition is badly needed to push things on
