Bought iron and then after 6 months started leaking water. Took it back to retailer for replacement. Replacement leaked as well after a couple of months. What happened to the good old days when things lasted. Think manufactures purposely make things...

I would not reccommend this iron. I had a $10 iron that has lasted longer than this one. It was very noisy - all that stem. For the price I paid I expected it to last longer. Will not be buying another Sunbeam iron!
