The iPad Pro 11 (2021) packs M1 power in a portable form
Desktop PC-level performance ; Lightweight and portable form factor ; Good battery life
iPadOS doesn't utilize the power of M1 ; Doesn’t feature an XDR display ; Can get quite pricey with higher storage
The iPad Pro 11 (2021) offers PC-like performance on a tablet, thanks to its impressive M1 chipset. That said, it feels like the iPad is at a stage where Apple really needs to up its software game to match the hardware.

Apple's new iPads feature the same M1 processor as in the latest Macs, but the real innovation is the screen on the larger, 12.9-inch version. It has incredible contrast and is great for watching movies.
Amazing Mini LED screen ; Fast M1 processor ; Center Stage camera follows faces in video calls ; Fast M1 processor ; Center Stage camera follows faces in video calls ; More portable than the bigger iPad
No multi-user support ; Camera still misplaced ; iPadOS still limited ; No multi-user support ; Camera still misplaced ; iPadOS still limited
The wonderful Mini LED display on the 12.9-inch iPad Pro doesn’t change any of those equations, it just makes the nicest iPad Pro even nicer. And so my yearly refrain about the iPad Pro remains. If you want the very best iPad, this is the very best iPad.

Apple's flagship tablet is now even more of a powerhouse with an M1 chip and mini-LED display
Powerful, fluid and responsive ; Eye-poppingly great display ; Center Stage is fun and useful ; Unrivalled app and accessories ecosystem
Weak external display support ; iPadOS shortcomings starting to grate ; Can rapidly get expensive ; 12.9in model a touch unwieldy
The best tablet around, bar none. You pay for the privilege – but will love what you get.

Is the iPad Pro (2021) better than the iPad Pro (2020)? Should you upgrade? Should you buy the old iPad to save money?

The new M1-powered 2021 iPad Pro 11-inch has the familiar premium glass and metal design, but nearly doubles the performance capabilities of last year's already-unrivaled iPad Pro. Featuring a solid LCD display, fantastic speakers...
Smooth 120Hz display ; Snappy, unrivaled performance thanks to the Apple M1 processor ; Loud and punchy quad speakers ; Familiar premium design
iPadOS 14 doesn't take advantage of all this power ; Expensive accessories
Expertrecension från : José Adorno (9to5mac.com)
Last year, rumors pointed out Apple was readying an 11-inch iPad Pro replacement with a miniLED display. Now, it seems this is not the case anymore as a supply chain analyst is reporting that the company will stick with the LCD technology for this...

Is having Apple's M1 SoC in an iPad a good enough reason to upgrade?
Light, easy to handle ; Very good all-round performance ; Crisp display, quality speakers ; Thunderbolt port ; Polished software ; Up to 2TB storage option
M1 SoC feels under-utilised ; Higher-end variants are very expensive
Apple really hit a home run with the M1 SoC and it's only natural to see this chip transition to multiple devices. I wouldn't be surprised to see future iPhone Pro models get a version of this SoC too. However, if you were expecting to see a massive...

Stunning display ; Top-notch performance ; Center Stage feature is amazing ; Solid battery life ; Premium and portable design
Front camera placement feels awkward ; Expensive ; iPadOS has certain limitations

Up close with the new iPad Pro.
Incredible camera ; Super-fast M1 chip ; Gorgeous graphics
