Garmin Dash Cam 65W review: State-of-the-art features in a compact design

 

The Dash Cam 65W boasts every modern feature in a super-compact with a unique magnetic mount. The video is very good, though being 180-degree, it does fish-eye a bit.

Attractive, compact design ; Red light, collision, and lane departure warnings ; Voice control and Wi-Fi connectivity

Video stabilization needs some work ; Noticeable fish-eye effect from the 180 degree lens

The 65W is an excellent dash cam. You get voice command, Wi-Fi connectivity, and all the alerts you could wish for without sacrificing the display, as you do with Thinkware’s high-end stuff. It’s also far more compact.

This all-seeing eye could help keep your whip on the road

Compact, unobtrusive design ; Clear, high-resolution footage with audio ; Simple button controls

Irritating beeps are all too common ; Voice control overly sensitive ; Newer cars have more reactive safety systems

A few minor irks and quirks, but the Dash Cam 65W is easy to fit and records clear footage to help you out should the worst happen when you’re out on the road.

Very pleased with this Dash Cam. Works just as expected with great additional features. Voice command is a bit sensitive, seems to have a mind of its own.

This is a good dash cam , it is solid build. So small , probably even smaller than a box of matche's give's you a warning on the screen for mobile speed camera area's . And fixed speed camera's . Easy to set up .good feature's .

Great little Garmin Unit

 

Great combined dash cam with speed camera alerts. Really easy to set up and install with plenty of cable to allow you to do an 'invisible' fit routing cables around the windscreen etc. You also have the ability to send your pics video seamlessly to...
