5x optical zoom, which is unusual given the price. Full HD recording. Lightweight and compact.

No viewfinder. Video quality is only so-so depending on your expectations. USB connection is flaky, often has errors. Still image quality is average at best.

Once you keep your image quality expectations in check for the price you pay, the H30 presents a more feature-packed alternative to a Bloggie or Flip-style HD camcorder.

Without the extras, I would say that the $250 Camileo H30 is an unremarkable budget camcorder, but a good value nonetheless. When you consider the mini-HDMI cable, power adapter and other packaged goodies, it becomes a great buy.

Poor video in low light, Video can "skew" easily, No external audio input, Video playback in device frustratingly slow

The Bang That Bucks!!!

 

Size, Features, Full HD, Touchscreen, Style, Take still photos up to 16mp as it records, HDMI cable in box, remote control, picks up sound very well up to 70yds.+ away. Rich colors on trees, flowers etc

Low light situations are not prefered by this camcorder but with external light it does wonderful. The auto focus could be alot faster but i'm sure that means more bucks also

I purchased this for my wife after she returned a much more expensive cam because it didnt have a flash for stills.In your hand the images are a bit fuzzy but she dug up a tripod and uses it with the remote and LOVES this camera.All in all its great

low cost, ample features, 10MP photos, image stabilizer (but only 720p, does not work with 1080). well constructed, comes with remote, i have no complaints, suits my needs.
